After Authy Desktop: getting codes on your computer
If you still want desktop access, start with an account list and move your entries over in manageable batches.

Authy Desktop is discontinued, while the mobile apps remain available. To move to another authenticator, re-enroll through each website's settings. Keep your old phone available until the new setup works.

Authy Desktop is no longer supported
Twilio ended support for Authy Desktop on March 19, 2024, covering Windows, macOS, and Linux. The mobile apps were separate from this desktop retirement.
If you used codes on your computer, keep the mobile app available while choosing a new desktop option. Check official platform support and download links.
How do you move without an export?
Authy does not provide an account export feature. To move, sign into each website and re-enroll through its security settings. If your old phone still generates working codes, keep using it during the move.
List the accounts you want to move and find their recovery codes. Follow each website's process rather than handing phone data to a third party or using unofficial export tools.
Re-enroll one website at a time
Begin with a low-risk account and use the service's official add-or-replace process. Mark completion after an actual login check, retaining the old device until the batch is verified.
Ask an administrator before moving work accounts. A successful scan is not proof that a non-TOTP enterprise authentication workflow has transferred.
Try a browser extension for desktop codes
The Authenticator Cloud desktop extension lets you find an entry and copy its code in the browser, with filling available on supported pages. You can finish a website login without switching to your phone.
For the same entries on your phone, activate Pro, sign into the same account in the app and extension, and complete a sync. Start the move with one familiar service and test its login before continuing.
